There is an absolute wealth of stunning towns and cities all within easy reach of your gite. Steeped in history, with its medieval chateau, Fougeres is our closest just 20 minutes away and in my opinion, a must, especially on a Wednesday evening when live music is played in the chateau.
Cultural Sites
Le Mont St Michel dubbed "one of Europe’s most unforgettable sights" is probably one of the reasons to visit this area and even if you shy away from the tourists, a drive around the bay, especially at sunset, is a true memory maker.

Une maison idéale, alliant l authenticité et la renovation haut de gamme... l accueil est chaleureux, le confort est grandiose, chaque details pensé par nos hôtes a vraiment été apprécié. Un endroit parfait. Ce qu on a savouré aussi, en vrac : Un grande cuisine conviviale pour manger tous ensemble, les oiseaux qui viennent à la fenêtre pour le café du matin, un poêle faisant pâlir de jalousie toutes les cheminées du monde, des lits top, une salle de bains avec douche et baignoire, des wc en haut et en bas (si, si, c est un sacré plus!), du goût et des bonnes idées dans toute la maison, le petit jardin dont on profite même en hiver, et aussi, en dehors de la jolie maison, saint james à 5 mn, fougères à 15mn, le mont saint Michel à 25mn... on a adoré la semaine à la Cachette. Merci nos hôtes, et encore chapeau bas pour le travail colossal réalisé dans cette maison.
